Limited Term Employment working Monday through Friday 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. June through AugustJOB SUMMARY:Move parts in and out of the warehouse for Manufacturing, store inventory as needed. Load and unload trucks, record transactions into ERP / MRP systems.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Thoroughly understand and adhere to the department goals, objectives, and strategyEstablish and maintain credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutionsPresent and maintain positive morale amongst employeesLoad and unload trucksPick material for work orders and deliver to workstations or staging areasStore Raw Material / WIP / Finished Goods / Supplies as necessaryMaintain inventory in appropriate locationsMaintain inventory accuracy levels at company targetsIdentify and label material with correct part number and descriptionsWeigh scrap containers, log as necessary, load on truckCycle count some part numbers as directedRecord transactions in the computer on a timely basisUnload all Freight Carriers and UPS shipments(sort and log in), deliver paperworkCheck inventory when necessary for discrepanciesPrepare shipments of material for outside operations, issue corresponding work orders as directedQUALIFICATIONS:Experienced working in the production fieldFlexible, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high moral and ethical standardsHigh analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focusWell organized and self-directedAble to relate to people at all levels of the organization in a positive fashionExcellent verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of computer applicationsPrior warehouse work helpfulWorking knowledge of ERP / MRP and inventory location system necessaryCapable of high attention to detail and transaction accuracyMinimum of 1 year of experience preferred in related fieldWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Will be required to perform job duties in a manufacturing production environmentWhile performing duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklift trafficThe noise level is moderate, and some production areas may require hearing protection in accordance with OSHA requirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms above shoulders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouchFrequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassistedSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perceptionMust comply with safety and PPE standards, including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toed shoesVALUE ASSESSMENT TARGETS:Adaptability & Flexibility General UnderstandingCommitment & Initiative ProficientCommunication & Interpersonal Skills ProficientCustomer Focus ProficientDecision Making Ability & Judgment ProficientHonesty & Integrity ProficientLeadership & Teamwork ProficientPerformance: Quality & Quantity ProficientProfessionalism & Attitude ProficientVision & Innovation General UnderstandingPOSITION IDENTIFICATION:HourlyPosition Code - 1MRA Job Code - 53121EEO Classification – Laborers & Helpers
