Technical Lead (Node.js / React, Cloud & Agile Delivery)

We are seeking a Technical Lead to drive Agile delivery and provide hands-on leadership across modern full-stack applications built with Node.js and React. This role focuses on scalable cloud architecture, engineering excellence, and team mentorship.Location: Sacramento, CADuration: 12 monthsKey ResponsibilitiesLead Agile squad delivery and ensure high-quality, on-time releasesArchitect and develop scalable applications using Node.js and ReactDrive cloud-native design and distributed system architectureImplement and enforce best practices (CI/CD, testing, code quality)Oversee database design and performance optimizationEnsure system reliability, monitoring, and observabilityCollaborate with stakeholders on technical decisions and roadmapMentor developers and elevate team performanceRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with Node.js and React.jsExpertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)Solid understanding of microservices and scalable architectureExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesProficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases and data modelingFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern deployment toolsStrong Agile/Scrum experience and leadership capabilityQualifications8+ years of software development experience3+ years in a Technical Lead or similar leadership roleExperience delivering enterprise applications in cloud environmentsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $67.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
