Logistics Engineer

Duties
Design and optimize supply chain networks, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution systems
Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and develop improvement strategies
Develop cost-effective logistics solutions while maintaining service quality
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline operations
Implement inventory management and material flow systems
Monitor and improve transportation routes and delivery performance
Use modeling tools and simulations to test logistics strategies
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or automation projects
Prepare reports, forecasts, and performance metrics for management.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or relevant work experience.
2–5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or engineering roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and logistics software.
Knowledge of supply chain principles and transportation management.
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
Excellent communication and project management skills.

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
