e’re Hiring: Manufacturing Quality Technician Location: Polkton, NC Company: Southern Fabricators, Inc. Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: First Shift Are you someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and high-quality workmanship? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Technician to support our production team by ensuring products meet internal standards and customer requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on inspection work, data analysis, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to maintain and improve product quality. What You’ll Be Doing Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies Measure components using calipers, tape measures, micrometers, and other precision instruments Record, track, and analyze inspection data using Microsoft Excel Prepare quality reports, charts, and trend analyses as needed Communicate inspection results and quality concerns with production, engineering, and quality teams Assist with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action efforts Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer specifications Your attention to detail will play a key role in maintaining product reliability and supporting continuous improvement efforts. What We’re Looking For Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) Hands-on experience using quality inspection tools and measuring instruments Strong verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Preferred Qualifications: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality technician or similar role Familiarity with ISO or other quality management systems Benefits Competitive pay Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid vacation 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for training and professional growth Supportive team environment within a growing company Additional Information This position may include additional duties as assigned to support quality, production, and operational needs.
