This role will play a critical role in driving planning, forecasting, and financial insights in a fast‑paced, high‑growth SaaS environment. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, a problem‑solving mindset, and the ability to move quickly while partnering closely with business stakeholders.What We’re Looking ForA self‑starter who takes ownership and drives resultsAbility to balance speed with accuracyCuriosity and a continuous improvement mindsetA strong bias toward action and the ability to get things done in a scaling organizationKey ResponsibilitiesOwn and drive planning, forecasting, and performance analysis for designated expense categories, including variance analysis and identification of key business driversSupport revenue modeling and forecasting for one of the company’s business units, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teamsDevelop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planningPartner with cross‑functional stakeholders to:Understand business performanceTranslate operational activity into financial insightsProvide actionable, data‑driven recommendationsPrepare and deliver clear, concise reporting and analysis for finance leadership and business partnersSupport monthly and quarterly performance reporting and forecasting cyclesContinuously improve FP&A processes, models, and reporting to support a scaling organization, including implementing AI-driven improvementsAssist with ad hoc analyses and special projects as neededMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field3–4+ years of post‑college finance experience, ideally in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or similar analytical rolesStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsAdvanced Excel required; Knowledge of Python strongly preferredHighly analytical, detail‑oriented problem solver with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insightsComfortable operating in a fast‑growing, dynamic environment with evolving prioritiesProven ability to own workstreams, manage deadlines, and execute with urgencyStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with non‑finance stakeholdersPreferred RequirementsSaaS experience strongly preferred, with familiarity in:Revenue and expense modeling and forecastingSubscription metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, etc.)The pay range for this role is:115,000 - 130,000 USD per year (Chicago)
