Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Contribute to a large operating room setting in an advanced hospital, supporting a diverse range of complex cases in a Level 1 trauma center. Your expertise will be instrumental as you collaborate within a multidisciplinary surgical team, directly impacting outcomes for adult patients—including those requiring transplants, trauma intervention, and advanced endovascular procedures.Schedule/Hours:12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (9a–9p)Days during the week will vary based on unit needs (no block scheduling available)Late stays required as neededDesired Experience & Qualifications:Current RN license for Tennessee or current Compact State, active at submissionRequired thoracic/vascular operating room experienceAt least 2 years of operating room experiencePrior travel RN experienceDemonstrated competency in circulating and scrubbing endovascular cases; scrubbing experience requiredCertification on file at time of submissionExperience with a wide patient population: trauma, neuro, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), cardiac, ortho, GYN, urology, and more (adult patients only)Key Responsibilities:Perform circulating and scrubbing duties for thoracic, vascular, and endovascular surgical proceduresSupport late cases and unit needs, floating between the ORs as directedActively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentPrioritize safety and high standards of patient care throughout the surgical processAdapt to a setting serving both urgent trauma and scheduled casesEmbrace an opportunity to further develop your surgical nursing expertise among highly skilled professionals.
