Since every duty associated with this position may not be described herein, employees may be required to perform duties not specifically spelled out in the job description, but which may be reasonably considered to be incidental in the performing of their duties just as though they were actually written out in this job description.Job Duties (Duties Assignment Statement)Ensures that professional and support staff are providing accurate and timely pre-admission advisement to prospective students, parents, families, and other members of the public.Assists with interviews and hiring decisions related to staff.Provides ongoing training for Admissions Outreach Advisers to ensure daily recruitment processes function in an effective manner.Works directly with leadership and other key partners at high schools, technical centers, businesses, and other constituencies in activities designed to recruit students.Works closely with the Director of Recruitment in the planning and implementation of college recruitment activities, programs, and campaigns.Coordinates and supervises the implementation of recruitment with local public-school districts.Develops assigned staff work schedules and assists with the admission of students and other administrative duties.Handles an assigned recruitment region.Assists in the on-going assessment of departmental needs and services.When appropriate, works with Academic Affairs to accomplish program goals.Serves as a principal institutional representative for recruitment programs on and off campus.Provides support to the Director in the management of all activities, events, and daily operation in the Office of Recruitment.Supports the Director in accomplishing institutional and departmental goals.Participates in professional development programs; and serves as needed on institutional committees.Job Duties (Safety / Policy & Procedures)Abide by the policies and procedures published in the Board of Regents Policies and College Policies & Procedures.Contribute to a safe educational & working environment.Adhere to established safety and health procedures and practices for the purpose of providing injury and illness prevention for self and others.Complete quarterly health and safety training pursuant to OCCC's established safety and health procedures and practices.Participate in all applicable OCCC emergency, evacuation, shelter in place drills, and be prepared to take action and assist others in taking appropriate action should a health or safety emergency occur.This position has been identified as having significant responsibility for student and campus activities; is designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA); and is required to report crimes they become aware of to the Reporting Structure at Oklahoma City Community.
