Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary We are seeking a results-drivenRegional Sales Managerto lead revenue growth within an assigned territory.You will develop strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and driving new business opportunities. This role will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through closing, while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver high-value customer solutions.The ideal candidate brings a consultative sales approach, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets in industrial or manufacturing environments.If you have experience recommending or selling large, industrial, motion control-based manufacturing equipment, we want to talk with YOU!Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute territory sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.Drive profitable revenue growth by achieving or exceeding sales goals, bookings, and margin targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, channel partners, and key stakeholders.Manage the full sales process including prospecting, discovery, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.Collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and customer support teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting, reporting, and market intelligence.Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events.Support customer satisfaction through effective handoff and post-sale relationship management.Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical business practices.Qualifications EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.Equivalent professional experience selling CapEx automated, industrial equipment will also be considered.Experience5–10+ years of progressive sales experience in industrial manufacturing, capital equipment, engineered products, or related industries.Proven success achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a regional or territory-based sales role.Experience working with distributors, OEMs, channel partners, or industrial customers preferred.Strong experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.This job requires up to 40% travel to visit clients!
