Infrastructure Engineer
Overview
As Lead Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the Temporal Platform’s reliability and scalability in a large-scale production environment. You will work within a hybrid Bloomington, IL-based setup, guiding infrastructure decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Temporal with developer pipelines. You drive platform resilience, SSO integration, and GitOps-powered deployments across cloud and container runtimes. ResponsibilitiesOperate and scale production distributed systems on Temporal platformConfigure enterprise SSO and integrate cloud services with identity providers and access controlsDeploy and scale containerized runtimes on OpenShift or Kubernetes with autoscaling, networking, secrets, and GitOps promotionImplement Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices (Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD or equivalent)Ensure durability through data availability, backups, retention, and performance trade-offsCollaborate with developers to integrate Temporal into pipelines and workflows
