This role is responsible for executing warehouse and delivery operations and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.Some of the functions the Warehouse Associate will perform:Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own ItEnsures that our customers receive their furniture in perfect working conditionUnpacks trailer merchandise and store merchandiseAssists with scanning as neededPreps daily pick-up merchandise and the next day's deliveriesAssists with staging furniture for customersAssists with merchandising the show room floorAssists Warehouse Leader with quality assurancePulls merchandise from stock and stages it for deliveryMiscellaneous duties as assignedThe ideal candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experienceWilling to submit to physical capability testAbility to follow safety guidelinesAbility to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memosAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team membersAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimalsTrack record of serving others and putting team goals firstOwners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibilityEmbody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the jobProactive approach; identifies and solves problemsAdaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environmentDesire to continuously improveIf you are selected for an interview, a formal job description is available.
