Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Electrical Engineer role based in Charlotte, NC. The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for diverse projects. Responsibilities include creating detailed drawings, conducting system calculations, ensuring compliance with industry standards, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and supervising junior engineers. The role also involves conducting site inspections, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, and system integrationProficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and power analysis softwareAbility to conduct load calculations, specifications, and system modelingExperience in project coordination, including collaborating across disciplines and managing timelinesFamiliarity with applicable local, national, and international electrical codes and safety standardsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldPE license preferred10+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial or large-scale commercial projectsPrevious experience in the mining, astronomical, or industrial sectors is a plusExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members
