Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Minneapolis, Minnesota.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CVICUDiscipline: RNStart Date: 05/18/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Title: Registered Nurse – CVICULocation: Minneapolis, MNShift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours)Duration: 12 WeeksResponsibilities:Provide critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients with a 1:2 ratioMonitor and manage hemodynamic status including PA catheters and arterial linesCare for post-cardiac surgery patients, including open heart recoveryManage advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and temporary pacemakersAdminister and titrate vasoactive drips, sedation, and cardiac medicationsPerform ventilator management and respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)Deliver CRRT/Prismaflex therapy and manage complex renal casesAssist with bedside procedures including trachs and PEG placementsCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesRequirements:Minimum 2 years of CVICU experiencePrior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)Strong experience with cardiac devices (LVAD, Impella, IABP required)Experience with CRRT and ECMO preferredAbility to float across ICU units (CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU)Certifications:BLS (AHA)ACLSAbout Prime StaffingAt Prime Staffing, we understand the importance of finding the perfect fit for both our clients and candidates.
