Server Assistant

Overview The Raymond 1886 in Pasadena, features an innovative, contemporary menu in a casual-fine dining setting paired with quality and a dedication to excellent service. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic experienced Server Assistant to be the backbone of our service team. The ideal candidate will work closely with servers, bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure our service runs smoothly. This isn't just about clearing tables; it's about setting the stage for a fantastic meal. Key responsibilities include: Clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently Assisting servers and bartenders with drink and food delivery Maintain a clean and organized dining and bar area Restocking dishes, silverware, glasses and other supplies Work effectively and efficiently to maintain an excellent workflow in a busy restaurant Communicating effectively with the front and back -of-house team The ideal candidate is: Reliable and Punctual: You show up on time and are ready to work Team Player: You're happy to help wherever you're needed Energetic and Hardworking: You can keep up with the demands of a busy restaurant Detail-Oriented: You notice the little things that make a big difference Customer-Focused: You understand that your role contributes directly to a positive guest experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience Fine & Casual Dining Experience Strong knowledge of the Steps of Service Banquet and private event experience Food, wine, beer and cocktail Knowledge Toast Experience is a plus Current California Food Handler Card and RBS Flexible availability including evening, weekends, and holidays Pay: $18.57 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee assistance program Employee discount Work Location: In person
