Job Title - CA ENDEVOR Administrator – MainframeLocation : RemoteWho can apply: USC or GCPrimary Skill: CA Endevor AdministrationSecondary Skills: Endevor Migration, IBM DBB, z/OS, JCL, REXX, COBOL, DB2, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, SCM Administration, Mainframe Modernization, DevOps Transformation.Modernization & DBB Migration (5+ Years)Experience5+ years of experience in CA Endevor administration, Mainframe SCM processes, application lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives with hands-on experience supporting Endevor-to-DBB migration programs within IBM z/OS environments.Required Skills•Strong hands-on experience administering CA Endevor SCM in enterprise Mainframe environments.•Experience managing Endevor Environments, Systems, Subsystems, Types, Processor Groups, Processors, Packages, and Element Management.•Strong knowledge of z/OS, TSO/ISPF, JCL, REXX, COBOL, DB2, and Mainframe development processes.•Experience analyzing Endevor processors, generate actions, package movement, reports, and build processes.•Experience supporting source code management, release management, and application lifecycle processes.•Strong understanding of Endevor architecture, application inventory management, and dependency relationships.•Experience participating in Mainframe modernization, source code migration, and transformation programs.•Ability to analyze and document existing build, deployment, and SCM processes.•Basic understanding of Assembler and Mainframe infrastructure components.•Experience working with development, release, infrastructure, and support teams.Responsibilities•Administer, configure, and maintain CA Endevor SCM environments and repositories.•Manage Endevor environments, systems, subsystems, processor groups, processors, packages, and element movement activities.•Assess current Endevor implementations, application inventories, and build processes.•Analyze Endevor processors, generate actions, JCL streams, package workflows, and component dependencies.•Develop and support migration strategies for transitioning Endevor-managed applications to IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB).•Extract metadata, source code, build definitions, and configuration information from Endevor repositories.•Support conversion of Endevor build processes into modern DBB-based build frameworks and dependency models.•Coordinate migration validation, testing, deployment support, and post-migration stabilization activities.•Participate in application assessments, migration planning sessions, and modernization workshops.•Prepare technical documentation, migration procedures, operational guides, and support materials.•Collaborate with architects, developers, release teams, and infrastructure teams throughout migration activities.•Support continuous improvement initiatives for SCM, automation, and modernization processes.Preferred Skills•Hands-on experience with IBM Dependency Based Build (DBB).•Knowledge of Groovy scripting, YAML scripting, Build Automation, and Dependency Analysis.•Experience integrating DBB with Git-based repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.•Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline implementation, and DevOps transformation initiatives.•Knowledge of Git branching strategies, repository management, and source code migration methodologies.•Experience with UrbanCode Deploy (UCD) and deployment automation.•Familiarity with Mainframe DevOps, zDevOps, and modernization best practices.•Experience working on Endevor-to-Git or Endevor-to-DBB migration programs.Soft Skills•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.•Strong documentation and organizational skills.•Self-driven with a strong ownership mindset.•Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.•Adaptability to support large-scale migration and modernization initiatives.Regards,Surbhi Chandan+1 469 405 4350chandan.s@precisiontechcorp.com
