The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a consultative mindset who can translate complex systems into practical, user-friendly guidance.Unison consultants work directly with clients to understand key elements of client business processes and then work to implement and operate Unison software products and service offerings by performing key tasks. Our mission is to deliver efficient and innovative solutions that empower users and streamline operations.This role will initially focus on training delivery and content development, with the opportunity to grow into a consulting role supporting Unison’s PRISM solution.Key Responsibilities:Partner with clients to understand business processes, user needs, and training objectivesDesign and deliver training across multiple formats, including in-person instructor-led sessions and potentially some virtual trainingDevelop clear, practical training materials such as user guides, job aids, and scenario-based exercisesTranslate system functionality into actionable guidance tailored to end usersSupport software implementations by aligning training with configured business processes and system workflowsFacilitate training sessions for diverse audiences, including federal employees, contractors, and internal teamsReinforce user adoption through follow-up support and ongoing client engagementCollaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality client experienceManage assigned tasks to meet timelines, quality standards, and client expectationsGradually expand responsibilities to support PRISM consulting activities, including client advisory, process alignment, and solution adoptionQualifications:Experience in software training, implementation, or client-facing consultingStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex conceptsExperience facilitating training sessions and engaging a variety of audiencesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a client-driven environmentStrong interpersonal skills and a consultative approach to problem-solvingProficiency with Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Bachelor’s degreeExperience working with federal government clients or within acquisition/procurement environments, preferredFamiliarity with instructional design principles or eLearning development tools, preferredExposure to software implementation lifecycle activities (requirements, configuration, testing)Interest in developing consulting skills and supporting enterprise software solutions such as PRISMLocation:Gaithersburg, MDClearance:Applicants may need to be the subject of a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, to include U.S. Citizenship.Compensation:Base Salary: $65,000 - $85,000Final compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.In-Person Interview:Our hiring process requires one in-person meeting, typically the final interview.Why Join Unison:Unison has pioneered the creation of innovative software for federal agencies, program offices, and government contractors worldwide.
