The team focuses on building scalable distributed systems and high-performance backend platforms that support enterprise-grade applications.Role: Distributed Systems / Backend EngineerLocation: Irvine, CA (Onsite)Type: ContractKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimize distributed systems and scalable backend servicesWork on high-throughput, data-intensive production systemsDebug, troubleshoot, and tune performance across service and infrastructure layersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutionsIntegrate modern tools and technologies into existing platformsRequired QualificationsExperience5–8 years of experience in scalable, high-availability distributed systemsStrong experience with production-grade, high-throughput systemsExperience working in cloud environments (Azure preferred)Technical SkillsProgramming & BackendStrong proficiency in at least two: Java, Scala, Go, or RustExpertise in microservices architecture and backend design patternsStrong foundation in data structures and algorithmsExperience building and consuming REST APIsStrong debugging skills across distributed environmentsCloud & PlatformHands-on with Azure (preferred), Docker, and KubernetesExperience with Helm for deploymentsStrong experience with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD)Solid Linux/Unix knowledgeData & StreamingExperience with event-driven/streaming systems (Kafka or similar)Hands-on with NoSQL databases (Key-Value, Document, Graph, Time-Series, etc.)Strong understanding of data modeling and scalability trade-offsDevelopment PracticesExperience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong CI/CD pipeline experienceExposure to AI-assisted coding toolsNice to HaveDeep knowledge of distributed systems (replication, consensus, fault tolerance)Experience with 24/7 production systemsExposure to DevOps/SRE practices (monitoring, logging, tracing)Experience in IoT, telemetry, or large-scale platformsPreferred Candidate ProfileStrong problem-solving and system design skillsOwnership mindset with high accountabilityAbility to translate complex requirements into production-ready solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsIf you are interested or know someone who fits this role, please share profiles at the earliest.
