Warehouse Lead Picker About Well Crafted Wine & Beverage Co. We are an importer and distributor of boutique wines servicing Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. About the Position We are seeking a full-time team member to assist in warehouse picking and delivery driving in Northern Virginia, Charlottesville, Richmond, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, the District of Columbia, and Maryland. The picker is responsible for helping to prepare customer orders for delivery and additional responsibilities as outlined below in "Responsibilities". Job Requirements Must be able to work an average of 40 hours per week and maintain some flexibility with work scheduling Must be able to carry cases of wine weighing approximately 40 lbs Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license with a great driving record Must be able to pass a background investigation Must not have a criminal record (DUI, DWI or felony) Must have a High School diploma Responsibilities: -Shows up on time and ready to work. -Assists in loading of delivery truck for accurate deliveries. -Ensures timely and accurate delivery of wine to customers in a company owned vehicle. -Delivers accurately to an invoice and in accordance with customer's procedures. -Maintains professional demeanor with customers and coworkers. -Ensures all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety procedures are followed. -Maintains daily activity and productivity reports using designated systems. -Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. -Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. -Assists with warehousing responsibilities as needed. Preferred Skills Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or delivery driving.
