Lead Snowflake Engineer

Position: Lead Snowflake EngineerLocation: Dallas, TX - hybridDuration: 12 months +We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer (Lead / Sr) to drive engineering excellence within our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the technical vision of our invoicing platform, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with Product, Finance, and Operations to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. You will balance hands-on development with strategic oversight, ensuring high-quality delivery while fostering team growth.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable invoicing systems, including invoice generation and reconciliation processesEstablish and enforce technical standards, architectural principles, and coding best practicesServe as the primary technical liaison for cross-functional stakeholders across Finance, Product, and OperationsPerform comprehensive code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and securityDrive incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiativesBreak down complex requirements into well-defined engineering tasks and delivery milestonesProactively identify and address technical debt, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term system sustainabilityRequired Qualifications:10+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership roleStrong expertise in backend system design, preferably within the healthcare domainProficiency in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, and DagsterSolid understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and query performance optimizationExperience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines
