Customer Service Specialist

Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative with experience or interest in the hydraulics industry. The individual will be serving as a contact for customers, managing orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate order processing. This role also includes handling incoming shipments, inspecting parts, and coordinating inventory with teammates. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Duties: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Provide technical and product support related to hydraulic systems, components, and services. Process sales orders, quotes, and returns in order management systems. Resolve customer issues, complaints, and warranty claims in a timely manner. Maintain strong knowledge of products and services. Build long-term relationships with customers based on trust and responsiveness. Receiving Duties: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming hydraulic components and equipment. Match packing slips and purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies or damage. Enter received goods into inventory systems and label parts accordingly. Coordinate with teammates as to where incoming product goes and to organize/ store products efficiently. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or technical degree preferred. 1–3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in an industrial or hydraulics-related setting. Experience with receiving or warehouse operations is a strong plus. Knowledge of hydraulic systems, parts, and terminology preferred (training can be provided). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and order entry systems is a strong plus. Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack or forklift) a plus. Working Conditions: Office and manufacturing environment.
