As a member of the team, you will support our prime contractor’s Agile Solution Factory (ASF), which is a passionate team of industry-leading personnel supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial. You should have worked with or have a strong interest in Agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.Serve as an Agile Scrum team member providing software development and maintenance for the delivery of releasable software in short sprint cycles. Responsible for activities associated with delivery of software solutions associated with customer-defined systems and software projects by working in close collaboration with software developers/engineers, stakeholders, and end users within Agile processes.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions for a variety of AI/ML-related pilot projects and use casesAct as a member of one or more prototyping teams supporting teammates and collaborating to deliver working software applications on short timelinesAnalyze complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving technology, methodology, tools, and solution componentsActively participate in agile delivery phases and ceremonies including release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, demonstrations, and retrospectivesStaying current with the latest advancements in AI technologies, tools, and best practicesDesign systems that can scale horizontally and handle high availabilityWork with Data Scientist teams to integrate applications with AI/ML, Big Data, or BI solutionsAbility to work independently on a complex task with little direction and management oversightQualifications: Required:Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include, but not limited to:3-year check for felony convictionsyear check for illegal drug useyear check for misconduct such as theft or fraudBA/BS Degree. Will consider experience in lieu of degree7 or more years of full stack software development experience or related role which includes experience with front-end frameworks such as React / Angular, and possess a comprehensive knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databasesFamiliarity with fundamental Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), transformers, and prompt engineering techniquesExposure to or basic practical experience with relevant GenAI frameworks and librariesExperience working with APIs for commercial or open-source modelsAbility to analyze technically complex problems and develop and implement new and innovative solutions in a fast-moving and fluid software prototyping development environmentExpertise in multiple software developer languages including, but not limited to: Python, Java, JavaScript, and TypeScriptDemonstrated experience with cloud services and platforms (AWS and Google) which includes an understanding of how to deploy, manage, and scale applicationsFamiliarity with cloud architectureKnowledge of virtual networks, load balancers, and content delivery networks (CDNs)Experience working with DevSecOpsAbility to develop and work with APIs including familiarity with RESTful services, knowledge of authentication methods, familiarity with data formats, and skilled in handling API errorsAbility to understand API development and managementWork hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Ashburn, VADesired:Technical certifications such as AWS Certified Developer and AWS AI Certified PractitionerExperience with DevOps (CI/CD) solutions such as GitLab, etcExperience with AI/ML solutions or complex solutions for predictive analytics, such as Google Vertex AI and AWS BedrockExperience working in a geographically dispersed, remote teamUnderstanding of Data Science principles and best practices
