Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, focusing on their physical and emotional well-being. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients, particularly in settings involving geriatrics and primary care.
Duties
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist in medical imaging procedures and interpret results when necessary.
Provide care for patients with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Perform airway management techniques and gastric lavage as required.
Utilize Epic software for patient documentation and management.
Maintain accurate records of patient care, including ICD-9 coding for diagnoses.
Assist with suturing procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.
