Warehouse Operations Coordinator

Position: Warehouse Operations CoordinatorThe Warehouse Operations Coordinator is responsible for the efficient execution of daily warehouse activities, including receiving, order fulfillment, shipping, and facility organization. This role supports the Inventory Specialist by ensuring accurate product handling and inventory movement, while also identifying opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency. This position offers a growth path.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsUnload, receive, count, and properly store incoming freightPick, pack, and ship sales orders accurately and efficientlyAssist customers at the front counter as neededPerform kitting tasks such as blending medications and assembling kitsEnsure proper handling of temperature-sensitive and regulated productsInventory Support (not ownership)Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities as directedEnsure proper stock rotation based on expiration dates and usageCommunicate inventory discrepancies to the Inventory SpecialistMaintain organization and accuracy of product locationsShipping & LogisticsAssist with loading freight and coordinating outgoing shipmentsEnter daily shipping data and maintain shipping systems (UPS & Spee-Dee)Process Execution & ImprovementMaintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse workflowsIdentify and communicate opportunities for process improvementsTake ownership of assigned warehouse areas to ensure consistency, accuracy and cleanlinessCompliance & StandardsEnsure visitors adhere to biosecurity guidelinesMaintain housekeeping and safety standards throughout the warehouseLeadership Development (Growth Path)Assist in training new team members on warehouse processesHelp coordinate daily priorities and workflow as neededDemonstrate initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds regularlyCapability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periodsAbility to bend, stoop, reach, and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operationsEducation RequirementsGED or High School Diploma requiredAssociate degree in business, logistics, or related field preferredPrevious warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not requiredTechnical SkillsBasic understanding of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Ability to learn and operate warehouse management systems and inventory softwareExperience with shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Spee-Dee) preferredStrong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
