The position will play a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems while working to meet agreed upon cost, reliability, and schedule commitments.Job Responsibilities:• Typical responsibilities include structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should have a strong mechanical engineering background with experience working in a cross functional team environment.Skills:· Sound mechanical engineering background (mechanical and system modeling and design, component modeling and design)· Creo / Pro Engineer· Mechanical structural analysis with Ansys or other FEA Software· Design documentation with Mathcad· Hands-on testing experience· Strong communications and leadership ability· Experience with test and measurement equipment· Elevator systems knowledge preferred but not required· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
