Apply via Dice today!Tools Engineer - DevOps100% Onsite-Spring, Texas/Long Term Contract OpportunityOverview:The Developer Tools Engineer will leverage software development and platform engineering techniques to enhance and support strategic developer platforms and develop data analytics solutions for these platformsThis role reports to the delivery team Product Owner and delivers strategic work for advancing software development and DevOps capabilities/cultureBachelor's degree required in Computer Science or IT related disciplines5+ years experience in a technical roleAdvanced level of software development, scripting, and/or CI/CD skillsProficient working with relational databases and generating complex data visualizationsCan modify established workflows and evaluate and assess errors as they arisePerforms complex analytics, generates insightful dashboards and can write code to automate workflows/processesWorks under limited supervisionWorks with technical staff and professionalsAdvanced skills with Enterprise implementations of source code management and CI/CD solutions (e.g. GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, GitLab Enterprise)Experience working with Azure and AWSExperience working with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation)Advanced skills working with package and artifact management solutions (e.g. jFrog, Sonatype Nexus)Advanced proficiency in MS Office suiteTop 3 skill sets/technologies required for qualification:GitHub EnterpriseFrogPower BI & Data analytics
