Company Highlights Series C: $250M in funding Team: Over 200 employees Clients: OpenAI, MetaAI, MistralAI, Character.ai, NVIDIA, Salesforce, Genentech, Cisco, Fidelity, Samsung, Walmart, and more Role Overview As a GenAI Developer Advocate, you will be the bridge between our platform and the developer community in San Francisco. Your role will involve organizing events, creating engaging content, and collaborating on product development to showcase the capabilities of our platform. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Organize and attend GenAI-focused events and hackathons in San Francisco. Tool Development: Create GenAI-powered tools to demonstrate Weave’s capabilities. Content Creation: Write compelling blog posts and code examples to highlight Weave’s potential globally. Open Source Contribution: Develop and maintain our open-source Weave integrations. Social Media Interaction: Engage with the developer community on social media and Discord. Product Collaboration: Work closely with our Product team, providing feedback and testing new features. Requirements Location: Based in the San Francisco Bay Area Experience: 3+ years in software engineering or machine learning in a production environment GenAI Projects: Experience building GenAI-powered tools for industry use or personal projects Content Creation: Proven track record of writing blog posts and/or social media threads with GitHub code examples Mindset: Curious, open to experimentation, and quick to learn and iterate Work Style: High agency and ability to work autonomously in a dynamic startup environment Personality: Proactive, kind, and collaborative Preferred Qualifications Industry Experience: 5+ years Model Training: Experience pre-training/fine-tuning LLMs at the 1b+ scale or training multi-modal models like stable diffusion Developer Tools: Experience working in a developer tools company Hackathon Participation: Attended 3+ San Francisco hackathons in the past 12 months Benefits Flexible Time Off: Unlimited vacation Healthcare: Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and families Remote Culture: Remote-first with in-office flexibility in San Francisco Home Office Budget: Includes a new high-powered laptop Competitive Salary & Equity: Truly competitive salary and equity packages Parental Leave: 12 weeks (U.S. specific) Retirement Plan: 401(k) (U.S. specific) Supplemental Benefits: Depending on location Compensation Salary Range: $182,000 – $248,000 per year, based on geographic location and experience.
