Job DescriptionEverforth ECS Federal is seeking a Software Developer to work in our Stafford, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.This role supports a program providing application design, development, enhancement and implementation support to mission critical law enforcement applications. These applications are designed to manage large data sets and indexes and support information sharing, data analysis, and electronic exchange to support investigations and collaboration to identify previously unknown connections and streamline the processes for searching and utilizing available data sets.The Primary Functions For This Position IncludeDesign and develop testable code using C#, HTML, Blazor, and Entity FrameworkDevelop and maintain unit and integration testsActively participate in Agile sprint planning and retrospectivesParticipate as a team member in sprint demonstrations and presentations to product stakeholdersRequired SkillsUS citizen and active confirmed Secret clearanceAble to work across services, able to identify potential challenges, design and communicate solutionsAt least 1+ years software development experience, preferably with C# and.NETDeveloping unit tests with NUnit, xUnit, or other frameworksRelational database design and development experience, preferably using SQL ServerExperience developing web-based applications, including use of HTML and CSSExperience developing or consuming services and RESTful APIsExperience working with an agile team using SCRUM, XP, Kanban, or other Lean development approachesKnowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHubExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsDesire to work in a collaborative and team-focused environmentStrong attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and solid troubleshooting abilityDesired SkillsExperience developing with component-based frameworks such as Blazor, Angular, or ReactExperience working with AWS or Azure services and cloud technologiesKnowledge of DevOps techniques and approaches to software developmentKnowledge of Docker and containersKnowledge of Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologyKnowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test-Driven Development (TDD)#EverforthECS1ECS Federal LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis any characteristic protected by law.
