As a Series A startup, this role offers unique opportunities for close collaboration with the founding team and cross-functional departments. You'll be instrumental in building and optimizing our backend services and infrastructure, working with modern technologies across our stack.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain backend services and APIs in GoDesign and optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for high-volume dataBuild reliable orchestration and integration layers across internal and third-party systemsImplement metrics, distributed tracing, and observability across servicesCollaborate with the Engineering team on improving the overall Developer ExperienceImplement security best practicesCollaborate with frontend, fullstack, and the broader engineering teamQualifications2-4 years of experience with Go and designing REST APIsExperience writing optimized PostgreSQL queriesComfortable building reliable integrations with third-party APIs and servicesScrappy; prior startup experience and not afraid to get their hands dirtyPragmatic; knows how to build things fast without unnecessarily complicating thingsExpert time management; we work with clients all over the world.
