Postdoctoral Fellow, Sámi History & Archival Research

Wifo at Umeå University is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow in Sámi studies for a full-time position lasting three years, starting on 1 January 2027 or by agreement. The fellow will conduct research within the Sesame project, focusing on Sámi in agricultural regions. The ideal candidate must have a doctoral degree, proficiency in Swedish and Finnish, and experience with historical manuscripts.
