In order to be considered for this role, after clicking "Apply Now" above and being redirected, you must fully complete the application process on the follow-up screen.OverviewThe Banquet Server will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00-$15.75 and is tip eligibleBenefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matchingThis position will remain open until May 22, 2026.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, refill and serve beverages and wine for customers.Set up tables according to meal period and specified standards.Remove dishes and glasses from the table and take them to the kitchen or breakdown station.Set up and break down buffet and break stations, as needed.Remove and replace table linens and service settings, as required.Clean and arrange workstations, chairs, and table pieces.Give menu descriptions to customers and answer questions regarding preparation.Relay special orders to the event manager, banquet captain chef or kitchen.Serve meals to customers or direct customers to buffets.Respond to simple complaints or inquiries from customers, members of the business community, and/or regulatory agencies.QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent GED strongly preferred.Equivalent experience may be substituted.Must have a customer-focused, positive and professional attitude.Must be punctual with consistent attendance.Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in events, banquets or restaurants preferred.Must meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.Excellent customer service skills.Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, extended (long) workdays and extended number of days.
