Inventory Coordinator I – Medical Device Manufacturing *Location:* Minnetonka, MN *Department:* Electrophysiology / Medical Device Manufacturing *Experience:* Medical device and cleanroom experience preferred *Training:* Approximately 5 weeks of training and onboarding *Work Environment:* Approximately 65–75% cleanroom / 25–35% warehouse Job Summary We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented *Inventory Coordinator I* to support medical device manufacturing operations in a regulated cleanroom and warehouse environment. This position is responsible for accurately *kitting production orders, counting and documenting components, performing material movements, and completing inventory transactions in SAP ERP* to ensure production lines have the correct materials available when needed. The majority of the position is performed in a *cleanroom environment*, with additional responsibilities in the warehouse. This role supports the Electrophysiology department and works with products used in minimally invasive heart procedures, including the *Volt catheter and Agilis introducer product lines*. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in a *medical device or regulated cleanroom environment* and has previous SAP experience with material transfers and production-order kitting. Warehouse-only experience is less competitive for this position. Key Responsibilities * Kit *medical device production orders* in a cleanroom environment by accurately counting, verifying, and documenting components against production work orders. * Perform physical and systematic *material movements in SAP ERP*, ensuring inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. * Complete *Goods Receipts in SAP* for incoming materials and components. * Assign and issue materials to *production orders* according to established processes and work instructions. * Verify material identification, quantities, and documentation before providing components to production. * Ensure production lines receive the correct materials in a timely manner to support manufacturing schedules. * Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all material transactions are properly documented and traceable. * Work primarily in a *cleanroom environment*, following established gowning, cleanliness, safety, and quality procedures. * Use required cleanroom PPE, including gown, hairnet, beard net when applicable, shoe covers, gloves, and safety glasses. * Support warehouse material handling activities using *pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment*. * Transfer materials between warehouse and production areas while maintaining accurate physical and system inventory. * Maintain a neat, organized, and safe work environment in both cleanroom and warehouse areas. * Read, understand, and strictly follow *process documents, SOPs, work instructions, and regulated procedures*. * Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with production, warehouse, and cross-functional teams. * Work independently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while working with employees across multiple departments and levels of the organization. * Handle chemicals in designated areas when required, following all applicable training, safety procedures, and PPE requirements. * Complete required training and demonstrate proficiency in assigned processes and equipment. * Work overtime as required to support business needs. * Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. SAP & Inventory Responsibilities * Utilize *SAP ERP* to complete material transfers, production-order kitting, Goods Receipts, and other required inventory transactions. * Accurately assign materials to *production orders*, not simply pick materials for warehouse orders. * Verify physical inventory against system information and immediately communicate discrepancies or issues. * Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation to support production traceability and inventory accuracy. * Experience with other *ERP systems* may be considered, but hands-on SAP experience is strongly preferred. Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent preferred/required based on company requirements. * Previous *medical device manufacturing and/or cleanroom experience strongly preferred*. * Hands-on experience using *SAP ERP* for material transfers, inventory transactions, and production-order kitting is highly valued. * Experience assigning materials to *manufacturing or production orders* is preferred. * Warehouse experience involving inventory movement and material handling is a plus. * Experience with *Microsoft Office* required. * *Windchill* experience is a plus but not required. * Experience with other ERP systems may be considered. * Ability to read and comprehend process documents and follow detailed, regulated procedures. * Strong attention to detail when counting, verifying, documenting, and transferring components. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to work effectively as part of a *cross-functional team*. * Ability to work independently and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment. * Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs. * Ability to follow all required safety, quality, cleanroom, and PPE procedures. Cleanroom & Work Environment * Approximately *65–75% of the work is performed in a cleanroom*, with the remaining time spent in warehouse/material-handling areas. * Required cleanroom PPE is provided and includes a gown, hairnet, beard net when applicable, shoe covers, gloves, and safety glasses. Mask use may be required based on area procedures. * Safety shoes are required for warehouse tasks involving equipment. * Some areas may require handling of chemicals; appropriate training and PPE will be provided. * Must maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times. * Position requires strict adherence to regulated manufacturing procedures and documentation requirements. Training & Onboarding * Approximately *four weeks of hands-on training* and shadowing with a senior operator to reach proficiency. * Initial *four-day training in Minnetonka, Monday–Thursday*, as applicable. * Overall onboarding and training is expected to take approximately *five weeks*. * Employees will be trained on applicable cleanroom procedures, SAP transactions, material handling, production-order kitting, and site-specific processes.
