This role is ideal for a software engineer with strong Linux, Python, Java, automation, and security experience who enjoys solving complex identity, privileged access, and secrets management challenges. You will serve as a Delinea technical expert while partnering with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and mission-ready solutions.Required SkillsExperience using the Linux CLI and Linux Suite of ToolsExperience developing scripts using Bash/PythonRecent software development experience using Python and JavaStrong background in Linux administration such as RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, UbuntuHands-on experience implementing or supporting at least one Delinea product (e.g., Secret Server, Privilege Manager, DevOps Secrets Vault)Experience integrating Delinea with directory services (LDAP, Active Directory, FreeIPA)Understanding of identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), certificate-based authentication, and security best practicesExperience troubleshooting system-level issues in distributed environments, including logs, services, networking, and authenticationFamiliarity with API-based integrations, RESTful services, and secrets automation in CI/CD pipelinesExperience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as Ansible and SaltStackExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Podman, and associated secret‑handling patternsExperience with the sustainment and support of large Linux clusters including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolutionDesired SkillsExperience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools such as Jira and ConfluenceExperience supporting enterprise security tools or working in a cybersecurity-focused software engineering roleMaintains a professional relationship with coffee and a recreational interest in witty exchanges.
