Project Management Intern

Our CompanyAmeritaOverviewAt Amerita, the Intern will support cross-functional business operations within a specialty infusion pharmacy environment. This role provides exposure to key areas including operations, finance, sales, and marketing while contributing to projects that enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and business performance. The Intern will gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and collaborate with team members across the organization.Schedule: Mon - Fri 8am-5pmWe are looking for someone who is available FT this summer, with potential to work PT/PRN the following school yearRequirements:Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and WordBasic understanding of project management concepts: timelines, milestones, deliverablesExpert in analyzing data, identifing inefficiencies, assting with KPI tracking and reportingInterest in healthcare, pharmacy or infusion servicesCritical thinking skillsSelf-starter and proactive ResponsibilitiesSupports day-to-day operations across departments such as pharmacy operations, intake, billing, finance, sales, and marketingAssists with data entry, reporting, and analysis to support business initiativesParticipates in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and patient experienceCollaborates with cross-functional teams on assigned projects and deliverablesConducts research and compile findings to support strategic initiativesAssists in preparing presentations, reports, and internal communicationsMaintains accurate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and proceduresProvides administrative and project support to department leaders as neededSupervisory Responsibility: no QualificationsCurrently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or universityPursuing a degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferredStrong interest in healthcare and/or specialty pharmacyProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesStrong organizational and time management skillsAnalytical thinking and problem-solving abilityEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentAttention to detail and accuracyAdaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environmentPercentage of Travel: 0-25%Driving Position: No** To perform this role will require frequently sitting, and typing on a keyboard with fingers, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing (stairs/ladders), kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
