BAS ProgrammerLocation: Los Angeles, CaliforniaSalary: $130,000 – $150,000 + Full BenefitsA leading Building Automation Systems (BAS) integrator is seeking an experienced BAS Programmer to join their growing team in Los Angeles, California.This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled Building Automation professional to work on a variety of commercial projects, delivering high-quality control solutions from programming and system integration through to commissioning and project handover.The RoleAs a BAS Programmer, you will play a key role in the delivery and implementation of Building Automation and HVAC control systems across a range of commercial projects.Responsibilities will include:Programming, configuring, and commissioning Building Automation Systems.Developing and modifying control sequences, graphics, alarms, and system databases.Integrating HVAC equipment and associated building systems into the BAS platform.Troubleshooting and resolving software, controls, and communication issues.Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Technicians, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.Supporting system commissioning, testing, and final handover.Reviewing project specifications, control drawings, and sequence of operations.Assisting with system upgrades, expansions, and retrofits where required.Providing technical support and ensuring systems are delivered to a high standard.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:Previous experience as a BAS Programmer, Controls Programmer, or Building Automation Engineer.Strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems and HVAC controls.Experience programming and configuring commercial BAS projects.Ideally, experience working with Siemens and/or Johnson Controls platforms.A strong understanding of control sequences, mechanical systems, and HVAC equipment.Experience with system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting.The ability to read and interpret control drawings, specifications, and sequence of operations.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a wider project team.What's on OfferBase salary of $130,000 – $150,000, depending on experience.Full benefits package.Permanent position with an established and growing BAS integrator.Opportunity to work on a diverse range of commercial Building Automation projects.Long-term career development and progression within a technically focused business.If you are an experienced BAS Programmer with a background in commercial Building Automation and experience with Siemens or Johnson Controls, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing integrator in the Los Angeles market.
