Position OverviewEclipse Advertising is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled AV Editor to join our entertainment marketing team in Burbank. This role is ideal for an editor with a passion for storytelling, pacing, music, and cinematic marketing who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.The AV Editor will create compelling trailers, TV spots, social videos, digital content, and promotional campaigns for theatrical, streaming, television, and gaming clients. The ideal candidate understands how to emotionally engage audiences through editorial while balancing studio notes, brand strategy, and campaign objectives.ResponsibilitiesEdit high-impact entertainment marketing content including trailers, TV spots, teasers, promos, social cutdowns, and digital campaignsCollaborate with Creative Directors, Producers, Copywriters, Motion Graphics Artists, and Audio teams to develop innovative AV conceptsCraft emotionally engaging storytelling through pacing, music, dialogue, sound design, and visual compositionManage projects from ingest through final delivery, ensuring technical accuracy and creative excellenceExecute multiple versions and platform adaptations for broadcast, digital, and social media distributionIncorporate graphics, temp VFX, sound design, and mix elements into edits as neededRespond quickly and effectively to creative feedback and studio/client notesMaintain organized project files, media management, and delivery workflowsStay current on entertainment trends, social content styles, platform specifications, and emerging editing technologiesWork collaboratively in a deadline-driven, high-volume creative environmentQualifications3–7+ years of AV editing experience within entertainment advertising, trailer houses, agencies, streaming platforms, or studiosStrong portfolio/reel showcasing trailers, TV spots, social campaigns, and entertainment marketing workAdvanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative SuiteExperience with Avid Media Composer, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or other post-production tools is a plusStrong understanding of storytelling, pacing, music editing, sound design, and emotional beatsKnowledge of broadcast, digital, and social delivery specificationsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlinesStrong communication, collaboration, and organizational skillsPassion for entertainment, pop culture, film, television, and gaming marketingPreferred ExperienceExperience cutting theatrical trailers, streaming promos, or TV spotsStrong sense of social-first editing and short-form content strategyFamiliarity with finishing workflows, color pipelines, and audio mix processesMotion graphics or compositing experience is a plusExperience working directly with studios, networks, or streaming clients
