Technical Services Specialist – AssociateAbout the RoleOur client is seeking a Technical Services Specialist, Associate to join the NEM Asset Operations team in Juno Beach, FL. In this role, you will assist senior-level physical real-time desk trader/operators in overseeing our client's and third-party customers' generation fleet in real-time markets. You will complete daily recurring shift tasks while building foundational knowledge of power generation economics, dispatch characteristics, and ISO/RTO protocols. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport senior traders/operators in monitoring and managing generation assets across multiple real-time marketsComplete daily recurring shift tasks accurately and efficientlyDevelop and apply knowledge of power generation economics and dispatch characteristicsNavigate ISO/RTO market portals and protocols, including ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, SERC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, IESO, and AESOAssist with transmission reservation and tagging systemsCommunicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholdersFollow established procedures with strong attention to detailRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDBachelor's degree completed or in progress (substantial completion), or equivalent experienceAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift (Dupont Schedule)Effective oral and written communication skillsIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelPreferred SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration1+ years of experience in generator operations or a control center environmentCompany Culture & BenefitsOur client offers a collaborative, safety-focused culture with opportunities to grow in the energy industry.
