DevSecOps Engineer

This role focuses on administering data clusters such as Elasticsearch and MongoDB, supporting development teams, and implementing automation and cloud-based solutions.The ideal candidate has a strong background in system administration, DevSecOps, and data platform engineering, with hands-on experience managing distributed data systems and supporting modern development environments.ResponsibilitiesManage, maintain, and optimize distributed data platforms such as Elasticsearch clusters and MongoDB replica setsSupport software development teams by providing infrastructure, troubleshooting, and platform supportMonitor system performance and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and efficiencyDesign and implement cluster configurations, including replication, sharding, and scaling strategiesOptimize Elasticsearch index design and query performancePerform data migrations and support changes to cluster architecture and sharding strategiesDevelop and maintain automation scripts using Bash and PythonCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesWork with JSON-based data structures and support data processing workflowsSupport cloud-based infrastructure and automation using tools such as CloudFormationContribute to system security and compliance efforts, including support for A&A processesRequired QualificationsMust be fully cleared with a recent polygraphMust be willing and able to work fully onsite at the location listed in this posting7+ years of broad IT experience, including system administration, software engineering, or DevSecOps2+ years of experience managing distributed data platforms such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB3+ years of experience supporting software development teams2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PythonStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex technical environmentsDesired Qualifications15+ years of overall IT experience5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or similar rolesExperience managing, upgrading, and scaling Elasticsearch clustersExperience managing and scaling MongoDB replica setsExperience with Elasticsearch index design, query optimization, and data migration strategiesExperience implementing MongoDB replication, sharding, and cluster designExperience working extensively with JSON dataExperience implementing AI-based solutionsExperience with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CloudFormationExperience supporting security accreditation (A&A) processes#CJFantom Corp is a Software Development, Agile Cloud, Cyber Security (Risk Management, Assessments & Authorization (A&A)), Data, AI Platform (Computer Vision Models), Podcasting Media Services, and IT Services provider.
