The Preserve culinary team at Double Barrel Steak is looking to add innovative team members’ who appreciate creating new and unique culinary experiences.
This position will allow you to learn and work with one of the leading Chefs in the culinary industry.
Double Barrel Steak at The Preserve is part ofa World-Class, Four Seasons Sporting Club & Residences resort located in beautiful Richmond, RI. with hundreds of miles of trails located on 3,500 beautiful acres. We are seeking Sous Chefs.
The Preserve is an exclusive private member club offering the most amenity rich outdoor sporting experience in America.
This opportunity will be responsible for partnering with the Executive Chef at our private club in all of its needs and requirements. They will be responsible for preparing food using recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef as well as creating their own menu contributions while helping to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.
Produces high quality plates, including both design and taste.
Oversees and supervises kitchen staff.
Assists with menu planning, inventory, and management of supplies.
Ensures that food is top quality, and that kitchen is in good condition.
Keeps stations clean and complies with food safety standards.
Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the kitchen’s performance.
Prepares/cooks' food.
Trains new employees.
Assist ordering food supplies.
Monitors and maintains kitchen equipment.
Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the kitchen.
General Requirements:

Would be nice but not required to having a farming background for our farm to table aspects on the property.
