Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Evolve: A Behavioral Health Center is a mental health practice servicing clients in the Northern Virginia area. We provide quality therapeutic services to individuals we serve and excellent customer service. We are hiring Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC). Ideal candidate must be licensed in Virginia. We offer LPC clinical supervision as well. We offer two different positions for full-time or part-time (both 1099.) We will guide you through credentialing process with major insurance companies to ensure you are able to see patients consistently. If you decide you do not want to work with insurances; that is an option as well. We are open seven days a week and can offer flexible scheduling as well as career advancement opportunities. Full-time & Part-Time INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR (1099) -Pay Range: $60-$90/Hour -Must be willing to see 22- 30 clients per week or 12 clients a week for part-time. -Able to work fully remote (you can make your own schedule; evenings and weekends if you choose to) -Full-Time (22 or more clients a week) requires a two year contract and part-time (12 or more patients a week) requires two-year contract. -MUST HAVE AN INDEPENDENT VIRGINIA LICENSE IN GOOD STANDING WITH NO MALPRACTICE CLAIMS. Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time Pay: $60.00 - $90 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule LPC Supervision Growth opportunities Work setting: Remote and hybrid options Work Location: Hybrid Duties: - Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine clients' mental health needs - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific goals and needs - Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients - Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and behavioral therapy - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals; must be able to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team -Completes all other task as assigned Requirements: - Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field - State licensure or certification as a Mental Health Therapist - Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders - Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and treatment modalities - Excellent communication; written and verbal - Excellent interpersonal skills - Compassionate and empathetic approach to client care Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
