This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) clinician to support students in a specialized educational setting. This full-time, onsite role is based in Smyrna, DE, serving a dedicated special education school with a focus on autism and varied developmental levels.The position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, initially starting with an Extended School Year (ESY) assignment at 30 hours weekly. Transitioning smoothly into the 2026-2027 school year, the role provides ongoing, impactful work in a supportive environment.Key responsibilities include:Delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children primarily in pre-kindergarten and elementary grades, with caseloads possibly including students up to 22 years old.Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to students with diverse communication needs, including those with autism spectrum disorder and other mid to low functioning abilities.Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and participation in educational activities.Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school guidelines and state regulations.Ideal candidates will possess:Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility as a Clinical Fellowship Year clinician.Experience working in special education environments, particularly with young children and individuals with autism.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, families, and educational staff.Commitment to onsite work in Smyrna, DE, supporting students through the full school calendar and summer ESY program.
