Job SummaryThe Analyst II, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical activities across multiple business functions. This role is responsible for building financial models, analyzing performance trends, and delivering actionable insights that support business decision-making. The analyst partners closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, improve forecasting accuracy, and support strategic planning efforts. Required Location: Dallas, TX - Fulltime - Hybrid 2 days/week Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and variance analysisPerform analysis of actual vs. forecast/budget results and communicate key drivers and insightsBuild and maintain financial models to support forecasting, planning, and business case developmentSupport the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, including coordination with multiple business unitsDevelop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and financial tracking mechanismsPartner with department leaders to explain budget variances, update forecasts, and support annual planning cyclesCalculate and track employee-related capital expenses and ensure accurate application of financial ratesEnsure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data across reports and systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, IT) to analyze financial and operational performancePrepare executive-ready summaries and presentations highlighting key financial insights and recommendationsSupport ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldAND 2-3 years of relevant FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED AND 6-9 years of relevant financial analysis experienceExperience performing financial analysis, reporting, and variance analysisStrong financial modeling skills (Excel-based modeling, forecasting, scenario analysis)Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting processesAbility to analyze large data sets and translate findings into actionable insightsExperience preparing executive-level reporting and presentationsProven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Preferred QualificationsExperience in FP&A or Operations Finance within a corporate or healthcare environmentExperience with financial systems and tools (e.g., Workday, Hyperion, Adaptive, Power BI, or similar)Experience working with AI in a Financial Function (e.g., Copilot, Building AI Agents)Professional certification: CPA, CFA, or CFP (in progress or completed) Key Skills & CompetenciesFinancial planning & forecastingVariance analysis & financial reportingFinancial modeling & scenario analysisData analysis & business insightsBudgeting & forecasting processesCross-functional business partneringExcel and financial systems proficiency Work Environment / Physical RequirementsWork is performed in an office/home office environment.Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.AMN Healthcare will provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with disabilities to enable them to perform the essential functions of the job.
