CNC Programmer
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing various tasks to operate, monitor, troubleshoot CNC machine. The CNC Programmer is responsible for ensuring the machine is performing as required to meet necessary tolerances. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and to achieve the most efficient production.
Job Location: This position is on-site in Damascus, OR
Duties/Responsibilities:
Occasionally operates CNC Machines as needed
Programming of CNC machines (Joinery Machine)
Following all CNC Standard Operating Procedures
Understanding of machine maintenance & troubleshooting
Effectively manage time to meet set schedules for production
Adjusting machine to specifications and to maximize machining capabilities
Ensuring most efficient use of raw materials
Track machine data for estimating, and tracking waste, and other various measurables
Create QC documents for all produced parts
Accountable for making sure every part is produced on each project
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to read technical drawings & a tape measure
Time management skills
Experience with CAD programs (CADWork preferred) is a plus
Problem-solving and mathematics skills
Reliable and self-motivated
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
Attention to detail
Experience with CNC Programming software
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2-years CNC experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to transverse from the office to the shop multiple times a day
Must be able to sit at a desk, in front of a computer, for prolonged periods of time
