ResponsibilitiesJob Summary: As a FOH Lead, you'll ensure front of house Partners provide positive and memorable service while taking guest orders, preparing drinks, delivering food, and maintaining cleanliness. You'll perform supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Manager, directing Partners during your shift, and training / developing Partners.Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions:Store Lead Operations / Training:Provides work direction; directly supervises Partners; serves as conduit of communication for managementTrains Partners on customer service, compliance, food safety, sanitation, equipment operation, etc.Works with manager at peak times; performs closing responsibilities when needed; may serve as backup to ManagerAssists in inventory control and purchasing duties, and in technical areas, as neededPerforms front of house service duties, as neededCustomer Service / Sales:Provides superior customer service; promotes a safe environment for all guests through responsible serving; answers customer questions; assists with menu / beverage selections, including alcoholic beveragesProvides detailed information of menu items and specials, and beer and wineAddresses complaints; resolves problems for guests / Partners in a way that builds strong relationshipsMerchandises products effectively; uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department salesPerforms front of house Partner duties frequentlyPerforms back of house duties proficiently, as needed, including food preparation, plating, and ingredient orderingCompliance / Food Safety / Sanitation:Ensures compliance with TABC regulationsEnsures compliance with department and Store standard operating proceduresEnsures logs are completed for area of responsibility (e.g., temp / 86 logs)Ensures cleanliness / sanitation of sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipmentThe responsibilities and essential functions outlined above describe the general nature and level of work assigned to this position.
