The Programmatic Supervisor leads the efforts to build and expand programmatic and data driven advertising strategies. He or she is in the platform daily, building and optimizing campaigns while also providing thought leadership and managing/growing campaign managers. This position requires an excellent understanding of programmatic buying, how the markets operate, plus an advanced analytic aptitude. We’re interested in highly motivated, solution-focused, individuals. You must be articulate, both when speaking to clients, writing documents and analyzing results. You must be proactive in growing our programmatic business, identifying new client opportunities and staying on top of the changes in this space. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Become an expert on LC’s Trading Desk. Oversee programmatic media buys across the agency’s core digital media team. Research and vet new exchanges/partners as they become available within the LC Trading Desk platform. Review and understand client RFPs in order to develop the best recommendations within our agency trading desk. Flawlessly manage, execute and optimize campaigns on a daily basis. Proactively communicate with clients, planners, account team regarding recommendations/optimizations. Present results and discuss progress, strategy, and recommendations, be a thought leader. Clearly understand the role the various digital forms – display, video, native, mobile – play in the overall context of online and offline media campaigns. Build and maintain senior client relationships. Keep track of client billings within LC Trading Desk and report on levels / growth on a weekly basis. Represent agency with credible thought leadership and industry trends, attend and present at tradeshows, conferences and digital events. Act as a mentor to individuals both inside and outside of your team, encouraging them to develop their full potential, and helping them develop their longer-term career plans. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years of programmatic trading experience. Deep expertise, experience and relationships with DSPs, DMPs and Agency Trading Desks. Outstanding leadership skills, including lead by example management style. Excellent relationship development skills and communication skills verbal and written, skilled presenter. Strong organization and planning skills, and be a great team player. The ability to work in a dynamic, quickly changing environment – must have superior organization and time management skills. Prefer agency experience. Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, MBA a plus.
