You will have a good understanding of business applications as well as user, performance, quality, interface, and security requirements to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem across multiple enterprise applications in a multi-enclave environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and debug new software solutions and enhancements to existing applicationsWork with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve themResolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancementsImplement desktop design, testing, security lockdown, and integration with standard software packagesIntegrate with automated patching and deployment technologiesAssist in development of software user manualsDocument applications, services, and environments for future maintenanceAutomate application and configuration deployments and updatesParticipate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activitiesSupport the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrationQualificationsClearance Level: Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperienceMinimum of 8 years of experience in software developmentExperience with SAFe Agile frameworkStrong understanding of forensic and investigative data requirementsDemonstrated experience designing and implementing software solutions in secure government environmentsPython, Splunk, and Cribl experience neededAdvanced Proficiency With Multiple programming languages and frameworksMessage brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and RedisLucene-based search/indexing platforms: Elasticsearch and Apache SolrData streaming and integration technologies such as Apache NifiContainerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)API design, versioning, and integration best practicesDevSecOps practices and toolsInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)Additional Technical ExperienceExperience with: Data processing, automation and ETL workflow orchestrationGraphQLServer side technologies (Apache Tomcat)Log analytics and observability platforms, particularly SplunkSAFe Agile methodologiesWorking in classified environmentsWork EnvironmentPrimary location: Chantilly, VAMay require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessionsMust be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and polygraph examinationMay require flexible scheduling to support critical operationsBenefits At SentarOur unique ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
