This role requires professional, timely service and consistent achievement of weekly service and productivity goals. It is well suited for individuals with a technical background who enjoy problem-solving in a dynamic work environment. Whether experienced or newly qualified, the technician will have opportunities to build skills and grow within the company.Responsibilities includeManage time effectively to complete as many service calls as possible while maintaining high-quality work.Meet assigned weekly productivity goals.Comply with company safety procedures, including driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout/tag-out policies.Maintain the vehicle according to company procedures and keep it clean and organized.Qualifications includeExperience selling and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, emergency lights and other fire products is a plus.The ability to learn applicable inspection and servicing codesThe ability to learn and comprehend general electrical safety proceduresA valid driver's license and a current and sustainable good driving recordSatisfactory results in a company mandated criminal background check and drug testA strong work ethic and professional appearancePreferred QualificationsA mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical background or a basic level of comfort and knowledge of these systemsExperience in working with basic portable hand toolsAble to read and interpret various mechanical schematics and diagramsDirect Customer Service experienceFamiliarity in filling out detailed reports on electronic devices such as an iPad tabletSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
