Plumber

Commercial Plumber Opportunity Red Oak is looking for motivated commercial plumbers to use their skills and experience and grow with the company. This person will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing related piping and material as directed by site foreman. All jobs will be new commercial construction, not service repair. Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, matching 401(k) Sick time (accrual) Vacation time (accrual) Weekly pay (direct deposit) Wage based on experience, but in the $18 - $28/hour range Monday Friday, 8 hours/day work schedule Advancement opportunities Certification training Employee referral bonus opportunity Employee recognition Requirements: Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings, to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills Ability to complete projects unsupervised and unassisted Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fitting, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial structures Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance Mechanical and boiler systems experience (preferred) Ability to run DWV, water, gas Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or GED certificate Legally authorized to work in the United States 1-3 years' experience as a plumber (preferred) Valid driver's license Must have own tools Must have reliable transportation
