This role offers flexibility while providing the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals housed in the Harris County Jail.Responsibilities include performing intake health assessments, managing urgent and chronic conditions, and collaborating with advanced practice providers and interdisciplinary teams. You will work closely with Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies, nursing staff, and on-site services such as radiology, pharmacy, laboratory, dental, and nutrition services.This position requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.Harris Health System is the public healthcare safety-net provider established in 1966 to serve the residents of Harris County, Texas.
