Maintenance Technician
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of equipment and systems within our facilities. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for all staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and construction-related tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead maintenance efforts and support the ongoing functionality of our infrastructure. ***MUST HAVE ELECTRIAL 480 AND 240*** Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning units, and various mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct equipment repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines. Assist with construction projects, upgrades, and installations as needed to improve facility infrastructure. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during maintenance or repair projects to ensure timely completion. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Diagnose issues using schematics and technical documentation to identify root causes accurately. Support emergency repairs promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions. Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs. Experience Proven service technician experience with appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or related fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Experience in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting complex systems. Prior involvement in construction or renovation projects is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide or coordinate maintenance activities effectively. Familiarity with HVAC systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology. Knowledge of safety protocols related to mechanical work and electrical systems is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive problem solvers capable of working independently or as part of a team.
