This contract role offers a unique, engaging schedule, working closely with two students who benefit from emotional and behavioral support during their daily commute. You'll travel with them by microbus, departing each morning and returning in the afternoon, helping create a safe, positive experience every day.Your skills in Applied Behavior Analysis and your compassion will shine as you provide behavioral support, foster social-emotional growth, and ensure a stable bus environment. The microbus is equipped with a DVD player for student engagement, and you'll operate alongside safety protocols, including a safety vest for one student to promote a calm, secure trip.Key Qualifications:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential requiredExperience supporting learners with emotional and behavioral needsCommitment to reliable, compassionate student supervisionFamiliarity with ABA strategies in a school-based settingAbility to communicate clearly and work collaborativelyReliability and punctuality, given the importance of transportation schedulesPrimary Responsibilities:Accompany two students on their bus route each school day (morning and afternoon)Implement and reinforce behavioral strategies during transitMaintain safety protocols, including oversight of the harnessed studentFacilitate engagement and positive behaviors during rides (utilize DVD player and interaction)Communicate observations and behavioral notes as needed to school staffSupport a smooth transition into and out of school environmentsEnjoy a consistent weekly schedule of approximately 27.5-30 hours (5.5-6 hours daily, 7:00-10:00 am and 12:45-3:15 pm).
