This is a field-based, high-impact role designed for a technically skilled construction professional who excels at client-facing consultations and project scoping rather than traditional lead generation or desk-based sales.This opportunity is ideal for someone with deep hands-on trade experience who can confidently diagnose project needs, build client trust, and drive revenue through expert-level site evaluations.Project TypesCommercial • Residential • Multi-Unit • Structural Masonry • Concrete • Stone • Precast • WaterproofingAbout the RoleAs a Project Sales Consultant, you will serve as the technical expert during on-site client consultations. You will evaluate project conditions, identify scope requirements, provide accurate pricing using established company formulas, and communicate findings to the internal team for proposal development.This role is field-driven and relationship-focused, combining technical construction knowledge with consultative sales execution. All appointments are pre-qualified and scheduled by the office—no cold calling or lead generation required.ResponsibilitiesClient & Project ConsultationConduct on-site client appointments across assigned territoryDiagnose structural, masonry, and concrete project needs with full technical accuracyBuild client trust by clearly explaining scope, solutions, and expectationsPerform secondary walkthroughs and return site visits as needed for high-value projectsPricing & Technical EvaluationCalculate project pricing using established company formulas and guidelinesReview drawings, site conditions, and project constraints to ensure accurate scopingIdentify potential risks, constructability issues, and value-driven solutionsCommunication & DocumentationRecord detailed job notes, videos, and findings following each site visitCommunicate project details clearly to internal estimating and operations teamsSupport office staff with technical clarifications during proposal and contract stagesFollow-Up & Relationship SupportConduct personal follow-ups for priority, high-value, or complex projectsParticipate in virtual consultations as neededDeliver samples and attend return visits on designated follow-up daysPerformance & RevenueConsistently close pre-qualified opportunities assigned by the officeMaintain strong close ratios on high-likelihood projectsSupport sustained monthly revenue targets through accurate scoping and client trustWhat This Role Does Not IncludeNo lead generation or prospectingNo contract writing or invoicingNo project management or field installationNo administrative follow-upsNo desk-based estimating all dayQualifications:ExperienceExtensive hands-on experience in masonry, concrete, or structural constructionStrong field background with exposure to:Concrete, block, brick, stone, precastDrainage, grading, waterproofingStucco, tile, and related systemsBlueprint and plan readingBackgrounds that perform best include:Former superintendent or project manager with deep field experienceLong-term field professional in masonry or concrete tradesFormer business owner or senior construction leader with proven sales successSkills & CompetenciesStrong client-facing communication and presentation skillsAbility to translate technical findings into clear, client-friendly explanationsHigh level of organization and follow-throughComfortable working independently in a field-based roleConfident decision-maker with strong construction judgment
